Finally got a chance to update again~ Although my summer consisted mostly of work...gym...and reading science fictions, I was finally able to have some fun today as I went to the DC museums with my sister and cousin! And I've lots of pictures to show too!!!
Starting with the first one, is me and my lil sister posing in front of the Smithsonian Castle:

And me at the entrace of Musuem of Natural History (which is the most interesting museum I've been so far):

This museum has exhibitions from the creation of Earth, thru the dinosaur periods, thru the Ice Age, and until current time period. Very very interesting stuff~ ^_^

Here's me almost got eaten by the T-rex fossil...
And while we're on the subject of fossils...For those of you who played RO, doesn't this fossil looks like the fossil of Peco Peco?? @@ (interesting.....)

Ahh~ And while we're in the period of the Jurassic, might as well take the tour at the Jurassic Park in the car. Here's a picture taken from a distance at the Jurassic Park. Too bad the guide wouldn't let me get off the car to touch those precious creatures for the fear of interfering their habitat...

My favorite section of the museum has got to be the Mammals area~ Just take a look at this beautiful arctic fox and the rabbit! Don't you wish you can just bring them home with ya?! Do not be mistaken tho...because, unfortunately, these are only the fake models (but they do look quite real!!)

Alrite~ Here comes my favorite picture of all!!! (I think it's a rare opportunity to take a picture of a tiger from this angle, don't you think?!)

And....probably the most disgusting thing I saw in the museum at the Insect Zoo area...and these are real life insects...there are huge spiders and gigantic bugs that you don't see everyday......gave me the creeps...

Last but not the least...at the Geology, Gem and Minerals sections. The jewel that catches most women's heart: Hope Diamon (a 45-carat diamond cut from the original 112 carats that has 45 small pear-shaped white diamonds on the necklace chains)

So~ This concludes my day of adventure. I'll be looking forward for the trip to the beach next week |
