It's been 2 weeks into the school now...and I already have endless amount of work to do =p. Guess I could take a break from it a bit and update my xanga~

Living at the language house Chinese floor this year (donno if that would make me even more fobbish =p), it's a really nice place tho~ and lots of nice ppl too!! My roommate is also really lovely too~ I guess it's all a good beginning for the year.

Just some random pics from the summer trip to VA beach with my family. Here's a picture of me and my sister taken from the balcony of our hotel. The beach was absolutely beautiful~

Here's the group picture of my family and my uncle's family~ It was a really great trip indeed!!

Well, going to watch Resident Evil 2 tonite with a bunch of my friends. Quite anticipating it~ Alrite...thaz about it for now lah~

Finally got a chance to update again~ Although my summer consisted mostly of work...gym...and reading science fictions, I was finally able to have some fun today as I went to the DC museums with my sister and cousin! And I've lots of pictures to show too!!!

Starting with the first one, is me and my lil sister posing in front of the Smithsonian Castle:

And me at the entrace of Musuem of Natural History (which is the most interesting museum I've been so far):

This museum has exhibitions from the creation of Earth, thru the dinosaur periods, thru the Ice Age, and until current time period. Very very interesting stuff~ ^_^

Here's me almost got eaten by the T-rex fossil...

And while we're on the subject of fossils...For those of you who played RO, doesn't this fossil looks like the fossil of Peco Peco?? @@ (interesting.....)

Ahh~ And while we're in the period of the Jurassic, might as well take the tour at the Jurassic Park in the car. Here's a picture taken from a distance at the Jurassic Park. Too bad the guide wouldn't let me get off the car to touch those precious creatures for the fear of interfering their habitat...

My favorite section of the museum has got to be the Mammals area~ Just take a look at this beautiful arctic fox and the rabbit! Don't you wish you can just bring them home with ya?!  Do not be mistaken tho...because, unfortunately, these are only the fake models (but they do look quite real!!)

Alrite~ Here comes my favorite picture of all!!! (I think it's a rare opportunity to take a picture of a tiger from this angle, don't you think?!)

And....probably the most disgusting thing I saw in the museum at the Insect Zoo area...and these are real life insects...there are huge spiders and gigantic bugs that you don't see everyday......gave me the creeps...

Last but not the least...at the Geology, Gem and Minerals sections. The jewel that catches most women's heart: Hope Diamon (a 45-carat diamond cut from the original 112 carats that has 45 small pear-shaped white diamonds on the necklace chains)

So~ This concludes my day of adventure. I'll be looking forward for the trip to the beach next week

Wow~ can't believe I haven't update for 3 months...@@! Anywayz...summer is finally here after those painful finals...but after 2 carefree days...my work at the restaurant begins now. I'm gonna be working at our restaurant every M,W and TR...so come visit me when you guys have time loh~ Although working at our restaurant wasn't exactly what I had planned for the summer (I rather work at any animal hospital =p), but I guess the great tips make up for it bah =D heheh~

Talking about working at the restaurant. On my first day there...I made the stupidest mistake ever =p. I put the tea bag into the vinegar (thinking that it's just plain water), added some hot water...and gave it to table #25 @@...I know it is my fault that I didn't read the lable on the pot...but it wasn't really my fault either b/c they put the vinegar (for refills) in the tea pot! Anyhow, the customers were really nice tho...just returned the vinegar tea...and asked for 2 new cups =p.

Anywayz...I better get to sleep now. My legs so sore after standing there the whole day. I'll post some insteresting pics next time~! (hopefully not 3 months later =p)

Alrite...time to do some work now...
